As a content creator, I found Wordpress to be a bit too much for my purposes, there is tons of stuff to load that I didn’t need. I’m really excited about my choice to go with a static site generator. I switch to Hugo with Hugo compatible export feature in the INK for All tool: http://bit.ly/2ECXoDa
